Action Alert for SB-9 and SB-10!
SB-9 & SB-10 are scheduled to be heard in the Appropriations Committee on May 10th

As we continue to focus on our local petition drive against San Diego's neighborhood-killing zoning changes, your immediate action is needed on state bills SB-9 and SB-10.
SB-9 & SB-10 are now scheduled to be heard in the Appropriations Committee on May 10th. (This coming Monday.) From there, the bill will either be sent to a full Senate vote or it will be heard on the May 20.
We ask everyone to please take time and submit a position paper ASAP. This is simply a letter stating your brief comments of opposition on SB-9 and SB-10.
Please send your position papers in ASAP to the state portal:

Maria Pavlou Kalban of UnitedNeighbors.net has written position papers for SB-9 and SB-10, which you can use as a starting point for your own letters. The one she wrote for SB-9 is long, but her recommendation is that yours should only be just one page. She wrote hers long so you could pick and choose from it, or ignore all or parts of it. This is just a sample for you to use.
