NFABSD Responds to Letter from SD Chamber of Commerce

Prior to Neighbors For A Better San Diego's presentation to the Kensington Talmadge Planning Group, the SD Chamber of Commerce published a letter purporting to support San Diego's ADU law. In actuality the arguments presented in the letter, penned by former Mayor Jerry Sanders, applied to the state's ADU code, not San Diego's.

NFABSD has been clear and consistent in its support for the state's conception of 1 ADU and 1 JADU of limited size as a reasonable compromise between increasing the density of single-family neighborhoods while preserving the stability and character of those neighborhoods.

We are disappointed that other groups choose to criticize us without actually learning what our concerns are or addressing them on the merits.
